Commissioners’ report

The 13th Commissioners report preparation is now underway, to be made available in late summer to members that have paid their annual subscription.

Ukraine

BSBMTCT, NHSE, Anthony Nolan, in combination with EBMT and WBMT, continue to work together in various initiatives to how best to support the healthcare response to the crisis in the Ukraine, which is now in its third month and looking increasingly like a long-term issue with no easy resolution. We will try to be a contact point for advice in relation to supporting patients along the transplant pathway.

 Covid

We’ve no need to remind you that the impact of Covid-19 seems to be lingering on, both as a risk to our patients and also disrupting staffing and delivery of our services. BSBMTCT guidelines continue to a reference point for support https://bsbmtct.org/bsbmtct-and-covid/.

Our very best wishes – John Snowden, Kim Orchard, Fiona Dignan, Deborah Richardson, Eduardo Olavarria, & Julia Lee
