Dear BSBMTCT member,

We hope everyone is well and has been enjoying a great Summer.

Here are some updates since last month:

We are delighted to announce that following interviewing 6 excellent candidates on the 8^th August, we have made a conditional offer to our top candidate for our new Senior Medical Statistician We will introduce them to the membership as soon as all of the pre-employment checks have been completed and the offer becomes unconditional.
Nominations to appoint our new Chair of our Vaccinations and Infections Sub Committee is currently open – deadline is midnight Friday 29^th August. This role is open to all members and is an excellent opportunity to get involved in the BSBMTCT.
We have recently signed a MOU with the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy (ISCT) to allow us to offer all BSBMTCT members a 15% discount on some of their ISCT Workforce development courses and Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 (see below). If you are interested in this offer, you will need to register with them by emailing workforcedevelopment@isctglobal.org and they can help you with your registration and discount.
