Dear BSBMTCT member,

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather! Here are a few things going on in the next month or so.

  • A massive Thank you to Matthew Collin for organising an excellent and thought-provoking BSBMTCT Scientific Day. Thank you to our invited speakers, Professor Sylvie Freeman, Professor Adam Mead, Dr Michael Spencer-Chapman, Professor Alessandro Rambaldi, Professor Rob Wynn and Professor Marion Subklewe for sharing your expertise with us. We had a fantastic turnout and it was really great to see some of you there in person. We would like to thank our sponsors also for all their support at our meetings and events.
  • We would also like to congratulate the winners of the John Goldman Abstract Prize Competition, Dr Warren Hazleton for winning the Basic Science category and to Evelyn Evans for winning the Clinical Science category. Your awards are on their way to you!
  • The BSBMTCT has arranged for EBMT to give all members two free sessions on the Informed Consent Forms (ICF) and Joint Controller Agreement (JCA) with an opportunity to ask questions. The next and last live session will be on Monday 12th June between 10-11am. To register for this event please fill in the form and the meeting link will be sent to you. Sessions will be recorded and uploaded to the BSBMTCT website for those that cannot make either session.
  • Thank you to everyone that has already paid the 2023 BSBMTCT Subscriptions, we really appreciate your help and support with this.
  • The 14th Commissioners Report for the 2017 to 2021 cohort analysis well under way. Thank you to you all for your data submissions. The 14th Commissioners report and centre reports will be available in early September 2023.
