Dear BSBMTCT member,
We hope everyone is keeping well during this Autumn season.
We are extremely excited to announce that our new Senior Medical Statistician, Francis Adams has started with us this month. Francis comes in with a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked as a Medical Statistician within a registry setting before. Wishing Francis success and fulfilment in his new role within the BSBMTCT Data Registry Team.
Work on the 16th Edition of BSBMTCT Executive Summary of Transplant & Cellular Therapy Outcomes in UK and ROI will now be able to commence following the recruitment of our full-time statistician. Huge apologies for the delay in getting this started. We are hoping we can deliver the reports later in the year/early 2026. We will keep you updated. Any questions please direct them to the Head of Registry, Julia Lee on julia.lee@kcl.ac.uk
We are excited to share that we will soon be inviting applications for the next round of the BSBMTCT Meeting Grants. We are able to commit up to £10,000 in supporting members for meetings such as EBMT Congress 2026. Applicants can apply for up to £1000 per member centres. More details to follow shortly.
We would like to draw your attention to a study between the University of Birmingham and NHS Blood and Transplant to help improve access to Stem Cell Transplant.
