IMPACT TC Application Form
Dear Colleagues,
APPLICATIONS INVITED: IMPACT Partnership for Accelerated Clinical Trials – Bid for Transplant Centre grant and IMPACT membership 2017-2020
We are pleased to invite Transplant Centres to bid for a grant to support clinical trials in stem cell transplantation as part of IMPACT; the partnership for accelerated clinical trials funded by Anthony Nolan, Leuka and NHSBT. A grant will be made to fund an IMPACT research nurse at ten UK transplant centres through a competitive peer reviewed process for a four year pilot period. Those centres that do not receive funding may join the initiative and participate in IMPACT trials provided they meet the core IMPACT criteria.
This is a hugely exciting development for clinical research in stem cell transplantation in the UK, with the potential to transform our ability to deliver prospective clinical trials across all fields of stem cell transplantation and vitally improve outcome for transplant patients.
All applications will be reviewed via an open, competitive application process assessed by an independent expert panel, which will be chaired by Professor Nicolaus Kroeger, Scientific Secretary of the EBMT. Please see the attached Application Form Guidance notes for more information.
Applicants are invited to bid for an IMPACT Transplant centre grant and IMPACT membership by 12 Noon (MIDDAY) on 10th March 2017.
Please find attached the application form, guidance notesand a signed copy of this letter.
The completed application form should be returned to the IMPACT secretariat at:
Alexandra.ross@nhsbt.nhs.uk no later than 12 Noon (MIDDAY) on 10/03/17
If you have any queries please do get in touch with me.
Yours sincerely,
Professor David Marks, on behalf of the IMPACT Oversight Committee
