The BSBMTCT Society is involved in organising a number of events which are detailed below:

The BSBMTCT Scientific Day occurs once a year usually in May :
· The agenda is compiled by the members of the BSBMTCT Board of Trustees/ Scientific sub committee Chair · BSBMTCT Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees host the event · The BSBMTCT Executive Committee decide the theme of the meeting
JOHN GOLDMAN ABSTRACT PRIZE
· Haematology registrars, fellows, practitioners and early career researchers working in the field of BMT and cellular therapy are encouraged to submit an abstract to the BSBMTCT Scientific Meeting to be considered for the John Goldman Abstract Prize · Usually, 2 applicants are awarded the John Goldman Abstract Prize of £500 each

BSBMTCT EDUCATION DAY

The BSBMTCT Education Day occurs once a year usually in November:
¨ The agenda is compiled by the Secretary of the BSBMTCT Executive Committee ¨ The Board of Trustees host the event ¨ The BSBMTCT Executive Committee decide the theme of the meeting ¨ The Education Day is more relevant for Data Management staff as opposed to the Scientific Day ¨ The BSBMTCT have been able to offer free attendance for all past virtual events |

SPONSORSHIP OF THE BSBMTCT EDUCATION AND SCIENTIFIC DAYS
Pharmaceutical companies often help to fund and support the BSBMTCT Scientific and Education days. Details of that event sponsorship will be featured at the bottom of the circulated agendas. There are various levels of sponsorship and corporate membership information can be found in more detail here:

MEETING GRANTS | In 2018 the BSBMTCT started to provide grants to attend EBMT congress and other BMT related meetings.
· Annual meeting grants are awarded by BSBMTCT · The meeting grants are open to all who work in the BMT and cellular therapy community (including Data Management staff and Quality Managers) and can be applied to any relevant meetings · The BSBMTCT understands from centres that funding for training and event attendance is very limited · In 2017 the BSBMTCT also worked with Anthony Nolan to offer support for Data Management Staff to attend EBMT congress
